Arrival in Wain River and you will be using a motorized canoe throughout a small WAIN river, with luck perhaps, you can see the Bekantan, the typical Kalimantan Monkey with long nose in the Jungle or Mangrove Jungle. You have snack box on the canoe with enjoy the view of the both side of wain river and we hope to see the red long nose monkey. Return to Wain River. Hoppely along the cruise you can see the red long nose monkeys.
One type of typical and unique forest in Wain River Protection Forest is lowland Dipterocarpa Forests. which once covered all the region of coastal Balikpapan - Samarinda. The dominant canopy tree species in old-growth forest is Bangkirai ( Shorea leavis ), Ulin ( Eusideroxylom Zwageri ) and Gaharu ( Aquilaria malaccensis ) there are many in this region. There also did not escape diversity is high enough for the kinds of epiphytes (orchids, ferns) and vines. In addition it was found also a giant ginger species named Ginger Balikpapan.
